Mitch,
I'm sure you have seen the news about the bad storms in the UK.
I live near Dover on the South coast, the weather here has been
raging all night. Wind gusts of up to 100 mph have caused devastation.
The government has issued over 100 flood alerts - rivers are bursting
their banks and homes are being flooded. We have experienced snow
and hail too. Transport systems are devastated with the already
damaged rail service brought to almost a stand still. Roads are
coming to a halt in many areas with a huge increase of accidents
because of the conditions. Right now at approximately 1.30pm the
sun is at last showing through the clouds and the wind has calmed
a little, however the weather warnings are not good, with more
wind and rain on the way to us.
