Mainstream Media Finally Catches On...10/22/99
by Mitch Battros  (ECTV)

Hard to believe it took the mainstream media so long to catch on, or is it. Either way, it is a good sign for all of us. More and more people around the world will now hear that the weather changes are continuing to escalate. Scientist are now starting to come forward with information of how and why these events are unfolding.

As scientist feel more secure from peer badgering, we will receive more information beyond the shallow and cuteness terms like "El Nino" and "La Nina". I believe we will see is the ongoing evidence of our weather being manipulated by none other than our...Sun.

I believe our Sun is simply going through a very natural cycle. Not a 100 year or 1200 year cycle, but a hundreds of thousands of year cycle. It is now being called a "Mega cycle". Our earth has seen this before, but we haven't. This phenomenon is connected to the "Magnetic Shift" that is occurring now. This is the cause of the changing weather patterns via jet streams and ocean currents.

Below is witness to NBC as well as other mainstream journalist taking interest to trends never seen before by this world population.

Weather Extremes Wave Of The Future...10/22/99
By Robert Hager NBC News

WASHINGTON, —  Weather is getting rougher and more expensive, the U.S. government says. Already, La Niña has cost $21 billion worldwide and the system is forecast to last even longer. Scientists say weather extremes, largely fueled by global warming, are the wave of the future.

THIS YEAR has had its share of weather fluctuations Record wet in North Carolina from floods has cost $6 billion so far. Before that, the record dry in the mid-Atlantic area cost $1.3 billion.

Kevin Trenberth of the National Center for Atmospheric Research says to look for more of the same. “The best estimate is the kinds of extremes we’ve been seeing in the last few years will be very much the wave of the future,” he said.

Many scientists believe these extremes are indicative of the big picture, that La Niña, El Niño and the rest come against a backdrop of gradual global warming. And that’s what exaggerates weather, making the hot hotter and storms more violent.

In addition to causing heat waves and droughts, global warming also causes more moisture to evaporate into the air. So when it does rain, the rain may be heavier. Even snowstorms may be heavier, and all  this affects people’s lives. Ants Leetmaa, director of NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center, describes the kind of headaches expected this winter in the north United States:

“People should be prepared to pay more for fuel oil and energy. … There’ll probably be more airline delays — more storminess as you go through there. You’re probably  looking at more snow removal costs.”
