BAKER, Calif. (AP) - Another aftershock to the 7.1-magnitude Hector Mine earthquake rattled the high desert Saturday night. The aftershock had a preliminary magnitude of 4.1 and struck at10:47 p.m., 35 miles south-southwest of town, said Bob Dollar, a U.S. Geological Survey seismologist. Thousands of aftershocks have continued to rumble through the area since the Oct. 16 Hector quake. That temblor was felt in three states and caused some damage but no deaths or serious injuries.
