For those of
us who have been following closely the news of researched data
coming out at a record pace confirming climate change we see today,
is really nothing more the the continuation of ongoing cycles
the Earth has seen many times before.
Although it
may appear crystal clear to many of us, some would even say repetitive,
we need to remember it takes several appearances for the mainstream
to begin to see it as "mainstream". It's just the way
our American culture works. We are conditioned to 'repetitive
marketing'. So be it. The bottom line is good. The masses have
now caught on that the world is changing and changing fast.
I know to most
of ECTV's viewers a resounding "duh"! might be a common
response. However, when you think outside the box, you will start
to notice even the most conservative of people have taken notice.
Let us remember the human element to this phenomena. It is possible
some may begin to become very uncomfortable with this new reality.
To many of us our response would be "wow, it's now here.
Time to get ready.". But others (majority) might be saying
"what the hell is happening. I've never seen anything like
this. This is not suppose to happen".
As stated on
my page "About Mitch" I say " At the end of every
lecture Mitch reminds the audience, "it is not you I am speaking
to, it is your family and friends who are not here. Those of you
in attendance of this event, will be least affected by the more
sudden shift of physical and spiritual transition just around
the corner."

During this
time of wars and weather, we will need to rely on one another
more than ever. There are many spiritual disciplines who describe
this very idea, at this very time. Now, here is the ironic challenge...During
this time of change is when we, as humans, will be most likely
to act out. I now call it "the passage of change". A
form of mental, emotional, spiritual process we will are likely
to endure.
In the mental
health field we see this everyday. When a person starts to make
changes in their life, even if it is positive one and in their
best interest, a high risk of self sabotage exist. Not only does
each individual struggle with themselves, they are likely to receive
resistance from family and friends. Does this sounds crazy and
backwards? Yes, but true.
We as humans
tend to like predictability and routine, of ourselves, as well
as those around us. When change occurs in our lives (either direction)
we put on the brakes and say "wait a minute, this doesn't
feel right". It is during this time, we will need to break
it down into smaller pieces. Move slow, but always forward. Complacence
is regression. As we become more familiar with our new environment
(and self), we will be able to move into change more easily. Those
who cannot or will not, make the changes needed, will be likely
to experience shock and trauma. A typical profile of a person
most likely to do poorly with change are those who try and control
their environment. Also known as "control freaks". Those
who need to know where everything is at all times. A need to make
sure everything is in it's place. They live by a code of "the
way things ought to be...this is how it is".
Those who appear
to do best with change, are often those with some form of spiritual
orientation. Able to be strong, but flow with discord and change.
Their external reality is less directing then their internal vision.
This profile lives closer to the code of "we are all just
kind of guessing". This person is more likely to encourage
people to "follow your own truth, not mine". Often ones
truth coincides with the other. Instead of "this is the way
it is" they say "there is no one way". There are
now several corporations who have caught on and use this principle.
Instead of trying to manipulate or force employees to work by
"this is how it is" they have shifted to empowering
the employee and solicit their input into the decision making
process. It is a huge success.
In what appears
to be undeniable changes ahead in both weather (earth changes)
and war, we will need to rely more on our intuition and our communities.
Many spiritual disciplines announce we are in times of enlightenment.
It will be" the passage of change" and how we handle
in which one may suffer or expand.
The Hopi's call
it "The Great Purification". I call it "The Transition".

News:
1) Earthquake
measuring 6.1 hits northern Afghanistan late on Monday night and
Tuesday morning. At least 2,000 people were killed and more than
3,000 injured after a series of earthquakes flattened a district
capital.
2) A strong
earthquake measuring a preliminary magnitude of 6.9 on the Richter
scale hit the Okinawa region Tuesday afternoon, the Japan Meteorological
Agency said. A tsunami warning was issued for the Yaeyama region,
including the island of Miyakojima, from the 12:46 p.m. quake.
Today's
Solar Forecast:
On March 24th
the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) near Earth turned south
-- a condition that lowers our planet's magnetic defenses against
solar wind gusts. Northern skies were already aglow because a
coronal mass ejection had swept past Earth on March 23rd. Because
of the two events, sky watchers in northern Europe, Canada and
parts of the USA saw vivid auroras on both days.
