CATANIA, Sicily (AP) - Mount Etna burst back to life Thursday, spewing flaming lava visible as far away as the mainland. Experts said the fiery eruption posed no danger to tourists or residents. The fireworks of red-hot lava were clearly visible across the Straits of Messina in the southern region of Calabria. The volcano puts on a show every few months, but its last major eruption dates to 1992.
