I feel somewhat angry at myself for not noticing this correlation sooner, and I really have to wonder about this recent MRI information that NASA has provided us...

Over 100 years ago a number of gifted and capable astronomers witnessed some very strange "goings on" while observing Mars. Could our current scientific beliefs and theories about Mars be all wrong? Could Lowell et al have witnessed Mars in the last global water blast (natural or otherwise) of its dying ecosystem? If that is actually the case, then maybe our science is very wrong about a much more important concept...Mars' time-line.

What if Mars was in approximately the same state as our own world was just a few thousand years or so, ago...Complete with civilized beings, established towns, and an abundance of monolithic structures? Then, what if something terribly catastrophic happened on the planet... Are the various strange, structural artifacts we see all over Mars the remnants of this ancient stone-building Martian civilation? Was there water on the surface of Mars just 2000, 1000, or even possibly 100-125 years ago?

I wouldn't be too quick to discount the fact that just over 100 years ago something very strange was happening on Mars, as witnessed by so many capable scientists of that time...Could they have all beeen wrong? Or is NASA's new MRI information which shows the existence of canals or channels hidden under the sands of Mars, wrong, too?

And is it just coincidence that the grouping of concealed channels illustrated by NASA (see image below) just happens to confirm some of Lowells' visual findings of over 100 years ago? Just maybe, when Lowell (and others) saw them, those channels were still flowing with water, and not filled in by the blowing sands of Mars...
