Dear Mitch,
The last full Moon was at 10 p.m. PDT on June 28th. That was exactly the time of the 5.7M quake between Vancouver and Seattle that was widely felt. STAR 101.5 interviewed me the next day about it. I warned about more quakes in the near future.
Yesterday there were 60 missing pets in the Seattle TIMES classifieds, the most in the history of the paper (Average 15-20, and there were 25 before the 5.4M Duvall Quake of May 2, 1995, which I had predicted in my Newsletter and elsewhere.)
I posted about the record pet ads about 20 hours before the quake and gave the Puget Sounders a "heads up." Many visitors to my website have posted about the strange animal behavior they had observed before, during and after the 5.5M jolt of last evening, the strongest in the Puget Sound area since the 6.5M killer of April 29, 1965 (day befoe the new Moon). To find a stronger Puget Sound quake you have to go back to April 13, 1949 when a major 7.1M event caused severe damage in the Seattle areas and killed 8 people. (That one hit the day after a lunar eclipse and the day after a very close lunar approach to the earth, in a classic Seismic Window.) I wonder what the animals were doing at that time?
