Just a bit of trivia for you. We here in Oz are having an interesting time. Our shadows are a pink colour. The main shadow in direct sunlight is still black but the edges are pink as is the shadows on walls inside buildings.

I have had others check without leading to anything and they just said "Shoot, my shadow is pink?!!" or words to that effect. Could it be a side effect of sunspots? or flares.
