An Interplanetary Shock Wave, More Red Skies...04/24/00
forward by Mitch Battros  (ECTV)

(NASA) An interplanetary shock wave passed by NASA's ACE spacecraft at 0400 UT (midnight EDT) on April 24 en route to an encounter with Earth's magnetosphere about an hour later. Elevated levels of geomagnetic activity began at 0500 to 0600 UT.

The solar wind velocity jumped from 420 to 520  km/s and the interplanetary magnetic field turned southward. These conditions are likely to create geomagnetic disturbances on Earth and possible displays of aurora borealis at middle latitudes. Sky watchers are advised to be on the lookout for Northern Lights near local midnight.

NOAA polar orbiting satellites recorded auroral activity over Canada, Alaska, and the northernmost of the lower 48 US states. The disturbance peaked around 11:30 UT and is now subsiding.

Equation:
Sunspots = Solar Flares = Magnetic Shift = Shifting Ocean and Jet Stream Currents = Extreme Weather

Join Me at the upcoming...Body-Mind-Spirit...Conference. http://www.consciousliving.net/lectures.htm
The first 20 people who sign up for my three hour workshop, will get a free Acupuncture treatment for stress, anxiety, and compulsions. I will use special 800 gauss magnetic pellets.  I look forward to meeting you in person.
