Could it be that most of us have 'already' gone to sleep? Is it possible our own government has taken action which would strip us of our independent rights? Is there a current program directed at our youth starting from kindergarten? Have Republicans and Democrats alike joined together to eliminate every independent thinker?

Wait until you hear my recent interview with Dr. Nick Begich. We touched on all questions above and more. We discussed current weapons being used covertly, but to my shocked ears, what is being conducted 'overtly'. That is to say...right in front of our eyes. You will better understand the statement: "Hidden in plain sight".

In one segment, I took Dr. Begich to task. I confronted him with his idea that HAARP was a military operation intended to control weather and us. My challenge...could it not be a covert operation through a joint effort with NASA, NOAA and Military Ops, to devise a force which would "counter-balance" the natural effects of the Sun. My hypothesis suggest, US government officials are very much aware of what is happening to the Sun. They know of the "Mega Cycle" and know what will come. As a result, actions are being taken, not only with HAARP, but with various other electromagnetic devices to try and lessen the blow of "Super Flares" and 'Geomagnetic Storms' which will be "off the charts".

The answer Dr. Begich gave was simply this " Just how dangerous is it for our military to play God". He went on to describe the severe consequences of what could happen when you monkey with the ionosphere and the Earth's magnetic field. True, but has the idea of negative consequences stopped our military machine in the past?  Answer - NO

In Other News

It has been very quiet over the last few days. Too quiet. I am just noticing sunspot region 367 coming into view from the far side of the Sun. My guess is that it will bring sunspot counts back into three digits. I will keep you posted of upcoming events. Today's sunspot count is at 87. I do not see the possibility of increased solar activity for the next 24 to 48 hours.

Earthquake Activity

It appears a small swarm of earthquakes have hit Southern California this morning. If you continue to follow the coast line going into Mexico and Central America, you will see a pattern has developed. A 4.1 in Oaxaca, Mexico and a 5.4 in Central Peru. I will watch to see if this pattern continues. If it does, I would expect larger quakes to occur in these areas within the next 48 hours.

Volcanic Activity

'Anatahan' Mariana Islands, central Pacific Ocean has begun to erupt since May 10th continued through May 20th with less intensity than when it began. The Washington VAAC reported that the ash cloud produced by the eruption drifted W and NW and was at a height of ~5 km a.s.l. on 14 May, and ~4 km a.s.l. on 15 May. As of the 20th, steam-and-ash emissions continued, with the resultant clouds remaining below 3 km and drifting primarily W. According to a news report, parts of the island of Anatahan have been covered by up to ~0.5 m of ash. News reports also stated that by 16 May ash had drifted over the Philippines, posing a threat to aviation in the vicinity.

Kliuchevskoi Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia - Several explosions occurred at Kliuchevskoi during 9-16 May, and seismicity was above background levels. On 14 May KVERT raised the Concern Color Code to Orange from Yellow. An eruption on 14 May at 1120 produced the week's highest rising ash cloud (~8.5 km a.s.l.). During the report period, instruments recorded 26 to 59 earthquakes per day. They were greater than M 1.25 and at depths of ~30 km. A large number of weak shallow earthquakes and tremor also occurred.
