Mitch Battros expressed his interest in a recent article regarding
the shifting roles and perhaps the position of the current
Pope. Mitch made an interesting comment when he mentioned
that the Pope may be somehow bringing forth the message of
Mary.
I think
it would stretch anyone's sense of reason to connect the
church with the essence or teachings of Mary (or Jesus.)
However, it is also true that this Pope has done a number
of things to reach out and broaden the sense of mutual respect
between nations and religions.
It
is precisely this mutual respect that is birthing what the
Aztecs call the Sixth Sun. The birth of the Sixth Sun is
precisely the message brought forth so poetically by the
Virgin of Guadalupe. Whatever may be happening by intention
or accident on the part of the church, something very important
is going on with the presence of Mary worldwide, particularly
in the form of Guadalupe and her message of the importance
of birthing the Sixth Sun.
There
have been a number of Suns, or Solar Ages in the past. We've
been living in the Fifth Sun, the Sun of Movement, Nahui
Ollin. The Central American glyph for movement is called
Ollin. It forms the center of the Aztec Sun Calendar. It
indicates that motion, movement and change have been central
to our world. We are now in the final days of the Sun of
Movement.
The
Sixth Sun is going to be Xochitl Tonatiuh, the Sun of Flowers.
Each Solar Age has a task. The task of the Sixth Sun is
to explore and refine relationship. That's why the Virgin
of Guadalupe produced the miracle of the flowers on that
cold winter's day of December 12, 1531.
The
Sun of Flowers is opening one petal at a time. It's blossoming
in stages. The first stage has been the flowering of each
culture on Earth. Every nation and group of people has valuable
gifts that no one else has. Most cultures reached their
individual peaks before the dark ages in Europe. The force
of these individual achievements sparked the beginning of
what the shamans call the Great Integration.
The
second stage is universal appreciation and respect for these
achievements. The truths of each culture are the flowers
of the world culture. An atmosphere of genuine mutual respect,
even if we disagree, needs to begin to prevail if we are
going to move into the Sixth Sun in an enjoyable way.
The
third stage is cross-pollinating into our full diversity.
When everyone on our planet has equal access to material,
cultural and informational wealth, we will have reached
the stage of full diversity.
These
first three stages take us through the task of the Fifth
Sun. When we reach a critical mass of these Fifth Sun milestones,
we'll get to go to the fourth stage, which is the birth
of the Sixth Sun. This will be the flowering of our planet.
What will that look like? Interplanetary and inter-dimensional
exchange with other civilizations. We'll start the whole
process over again on an interstellar level.
The
flowering process is all about developing relationships.
First we cross-pollinate with one another within our own
culture. We simultaneously unify and diversify into a living
group identity. Then the flowers of our culture cross-pollinate
with other cultures to create new hybrid cultures. This
process applies to a very broad range of relationships from
the most basic life forms to the most advanced civilizations.
We
are in this process of flowering. It is a spiritual, biological,
social and political wave that is welling up all over the
planet. This is the very process that the Aztecs tuned their
vision of history and spiritual practice toward. Unfortunately,
it seems like it was the church's plan to create the very
opposite of that vision, and all that we know of modern
history has been the sad product of that plan.
The
great Aztec vision of global harmony and integration, which
they knew and still know as The Mandate of Huitzilopochtli,
had to go into a seed form, into secret, into hiding, while
the rest of the world caught up with it. This is the seed
that the Virgin of Guadalupe has preserved so impeccably
for the last five hundred years. She's now bringing it back.
It's changing everything we knew into new, interactive and
dynamic relationships. The life principle of the Earth itself
is beginning to wake up and stir.
