I know Evolution
is a foregone conclusion in these modern enlightened times. It's
almost an act of sacrilege to question it. Be that as it may,
I will still dare to suggest that Evolution does not apply as
universally as we
think. I'm not saying Evolution isn't a fact because we can see
obvious evidence
everywhere in nature around us. What I am saying is that in some
cases it doesn't seem to apply. We must stop trying to make it
work where it doesn't. We must look for some other explanation.
Evolution
is a theory that life evolves from simple to the more complex
forms. This same theory is applied to other sciences as well.
For example, the
science of Archeology where civilization is thought to evolve
from primitive to the more advanced cultures. Strangely enough,
it is the Science of Archeology that is chipping away at Evolution.
Archeological discoveries are raising serious questions as to
the origins and age of civilization. It is also bringing into
question the origins of mankind. It may
also raise questions as to the origin of species and life on this
planet.
Archeological
discoveries increasingly suggest that civilization existed at
a highly advanced level in prehistoric times. Evidence seems to
suggest a devolution into recorded history. We are beginning to
see is a picture totally reversed from the evolution of caveman
through modern man.
Evolution
does not seem to apply here. Some of these civilizations seem
not to have evolved but appeared suddenly fully developed. Others
have vanished just as suddenly. Tiahuanaco is just one such example.
Enormous structures and
stone highways and walls of emmense size have been found underwater
near Bimini Island in the Bermuda Triangle.
Further discoveries
using ground penetrating radar have found chambers beneath the
Great Pyramid. There have been many other discoveries of temples
and ruins in Mexico and the Americas including miles of underground
tunnels and chambers. There are artifacts located in various museums
and collections around the world that simply
defy explanation under currently accepted theories. Many of these
discoveries keep throwing back the age of civilization by thousands
of years. Obviously something other than Social Evolution would
explain this.
There is one
very simple explanation for this seemingly backward evidence.
These advanced
civilizations may have been brought here from somewhere else.
Later, they were somehow cut off from their source and slowly
devolved to less advanced cultures over time.
By acknowledging
the possibility that ancient civilizations were brought here from
somewhere else, we must accept another conclusion. Advanced intelligence
existed on this planet during the dawn of mankind's history. Knowing
this we must also face another startling fact. The influence of
this advanced intelligence may not just be isolated to the origins
of civilization.
This influence
may also have effected the origins of mankind and
of life on this planet. We are unable to discern between naturally
occurring evolution and that which was intentionally produced
or altered by the architects of these ancient civilizations. We
do not know the extent of their influence in the natural order
of things.
What else
did they bring along with their culture and architecture? What
animals, plants and technologies did they also bring? How about
genetic engineering? How can we tell the difference between an
animal or plant that was genetically engineered or that which
occurred naturally? Evolution now comes into question as it relates
to the origin of species.
Many ancient
texts including the Bible suggest that this is in fact what actually
happened. That advanced civilizations were brought here from other
worlds. That mankind did not evolve naturally from the Earth but
was created by a superior intelligence. Many of the plant and
animal forms we take for granted as seemingly natural could in
fact have been created or engineered by this same intelligence.
In light of some of the more recent Archeological discoveries,
perhaps we should stand back and take another look at some of
these ancient texts.
Perhaps a
more literal interpretation would
be in order. In Genesis we read, "And God said, Let us make
man in our image, after our likeness". What is the image
of God? Why does God refer to self as "our" and "us"?
I think the answers to these questions and many more could soon
be found if we just view the evidence without the prejudicial
eye of Evolution.
